Professional Life

Drew was very fond of TV & movies from a very small age. In no time, he developed a great acting ability in movies and theatre. Before landing on major roles in movies and series, he began his journey from very short roles and TV commercials. Talking about his acting career, he portrayed the role of ‘Gideon’ in the short movie, ‘the Last Cross’ in 2017.

The same year, his major breakthrough was his character of ‘Sweaty Teen Boy and Drunk Teen’ in the TV series, ‘Stranger Things’. In 2018, in the movie, ‘The Darkest Minds’, he was doing the role of ‘Arguing Kid’ directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson. This movie depicts the fear of the world imprisoned by adults which led a group of teens to form a resistance group to fight back and reclaim control of their future. He played the role alongside Amandla Stenberg, Mandy Moore, and Bradley Whitford to name a few.

Furthermore, in 2018, he played the role of Gary/Kid in the TV series, ‘Insatiable’. The same year, he appeared as Nick in the movie, Boy Erased. A horror, crime, and thriller movie,’ Halloween’, in which he did the role of ‘Oscar’ brought fame to him. Again, he was offered Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween, written by Rob Lieber. This belonged to comedy genre and Scheid was doing the role of Tyler’s Crew. Likewise, he was guest-starred in ‘Champaign ILL as Wallach. Another big-screen project he landed on was Kansas City. He was cast as ‘Caddie’.

2019-present

2019 has also been a busy year for him. He was doing a few series and a movie too. He was guest-starred as ‘Blaine’ in the TV series, ‘Superstore’ while in “Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell’, he was cast as ‘Escape Room Manager’. The uncredited role of Linus in ‘Just Mercy’ was lauded by the audience. Similarly, the other two TV series is ‘The Purge’ and ‘Titans’. In the former, he played the role of ‘Dude’ and ‘Faux Hawk’ in the latter.

Lately, he did the role of ‘Milo’ in the TV series, ‘Amazing Stories’.Similarly, he got few movies such as ‘Drought’ and ‘Words on Bathroom Walls’. He played the role of ‘Charles/Glee Club President’ in ‘Dwight in Shining Armor’. As of now, another big-cinema, ‘The War with Grandpa’ has recently been completed. In the near future, he is doing a movie,’Fear Street 2’ directed by Leigh Janiak.
